I tried keeping a diary once or twice or thrice but I never stuck with it, something about picking up a pen put me off... maybe it's a mark of my generation. Blogging works for me. I spend most of my time on my laptop - I call her Sheila, by the way, cos I don't really like that name and I don't really like my laptop. So I write, in between manga, Japanese, knitting, Judge Judy or anything that catches my whim... oh, and on occasion, my dissertation... but I'm dropping out anyway so "to hell with it". I write about the Japan I've yet to experience, the waiting, the countdown, including the hiccups of my own making but you'll have to read more to find out.
Lately I've taken a liking to semi-fictional posts about myself i.e. The September Issue, Time Travelling and a few others in the works. According to Google Analytics a few people read my blog, so I was gonna describe myself (5' SHORT, black, female, visually impaired) but I think I'll put up a picture instead. I just need to find one that strokes my flailing ego.
